Delete your Pagely account and data
Last updated: 13 October 2026
This page explains how to delete your Pagely account (app identifier studio.robu.pagely) and everything stored with it.
Delete your account from inside the app
- Open Pagely and go to the Profile tab.
- Tap Account.
- Tap Delete my account and confirm.
The account and its data are removed immediately. This cannot be undone.
If you signed in with Apple, Apple asks you to confirm once more before the deletion. That also removes Pagely's access to your Apple ID.
If you cannot open the app
Email robu.studyo@gmail.com from the address your account uses, with the subject "Delete my account". We verify that the request comes from the account's own email address and then delete it. We reply within 30 days, normally much sooner.
If you signed in with Apple
You can also remove Pagely's access to your Apple ID yourself: on your iPhone or iPad open Settings → your name → Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple → Pagely and tap Stop Using Apple ID. That does not delete your Pagely account; use the steps above for that.
What is deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes:
- Your profile: display name, username, bio, profile picture and cover photo,
- Your library, shelves and reading status,
- Reading sessions, page progress, streaks and goals,
- Ratings, reviews, notes and any photos attached to them,
- Posts and their photos, comments and likes,
- Club memberships and the messages you sent in clubs, your direct messages and your stories,
- Follows in both directions (including authors and publishers you follow), your blocks and your book requests.
What is kept, and for how long
- Backups: your data disappears from the live system straight away; copies inside routine backups cycle out within 30 days at the latest.
- Moderation records: if you were reported for breaking the rules, the report itself may be kept so the same abuse can be recognised again. It no longer identifies you once your account is gone.
- Payment records: subscriptions are billed by Google Play or Apple, not by us. They keep their own payment and invoice records under tax law, and we have no access to them and cannot delete them. Manage or cancel a subscription at Google Play → Subscriptions (Android) or Settings → your name → Subscriptions (iPhone and iPad).
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it separately in Google Play or in your Apple ID subscriptions, or billing continues.
Deleting only part of your data
You do not have to delete your account to remove things. Each of these deletes on its own, from inside the app, at any time:
- A shelf: Bookshelf → open the shelf → delete it.
- A book on a shelf: open the shelf → remove the book from it.
- A note and its photo: open the book → Notes → delete the note.
- A post and its photo: find the post in the feed or on the book → delete it.
- A comment: open the post → delete your comment.
- A like: tap the like again to remove it.
- A club membership: open the club → Leave.
- A follow: open the profile → Unfollow.
- A block: Settings → Blocked users → Unblock.
Some items cannot yet be removed on their own from inside the app: a book once added to your library, a review, and a message you sent in a club. To have any of these deleted, email robu.studyo@gmail.com from your account's address and say what to remove; we action it within 30 days. Deleting your account removes them along with everything else.
