Delete your TV-List account and data

This page explains how to delete your TV-List account (Android package studio.robu.tvlist) and everything stored with it.

Delete from inside the app

1. Open TV-List and go to the Profile tab.
2. Tap Account.
3. Tap Delete my account and confirm.

Your account and data are removed immediately. This cannot be undone.

Can't open the app?

Email support@robu.studio from the Google address your account uses, with subject "Delete my account". We verify the request comes from that address and delete it. We respond within 30 days, usually much sooner.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

• Your profile: display name, username, bio, profile and cover photos, social links,
• Your watchlist, watched episodes and rewatch counts,
• Your ratings, reviews, and notes on shows and movies,
• Custom lists you created,
• Your posts and their photos, comments and likes,
• Your club memberships and messages you sent in clubs,
• Your follows, follow requests and blocks in both directions,
• Direct messages you sent and received,
• Your subscription records.

What's kept, and for how long

• Backups: your data disappears from the live system immediately; copies in routine backups age out within 30 days at the latest.
• Moderation records: if you were reported for a policy violation, that report may be kept so the same abuse can be recognised again. It no longer identifies you once your account is gone.

Deleting only part of your data

You don't need to delete your account to remove specific things. Each of these can be deleted on its own, any time, from inside the app:

• A title from your watchlist: open the show/movie page → remove from watchlist.
• A rating or review: open the show/movie page → tap your star again.
• A note: open the show/movie page → Notes → delete the note.
• A custom list: Lists → open the list → delete.
• A post and its photo: find the post in the feed or on the title's page → delete.
• A comment: find your comment → delete.
• A like: tap the like again.
• A club membership: open the club → leave.
• A follow: open the profile → unfollow.
• A block: Privacy → Blocked accounts → unblock.

Deleting a single direct message or a message you sent in a club isn't available from inside the app yet. To remove one, email support@robu.studio from your account's Google address describing what to remove; we act on it within 30 days. Deleting your account removes these along with everything else.
