This policy applies to the Yip mobile app (package name studio.robu.yip) published by Robu Studio.
Örgü ve tığ işi projeleri, şemalar, proje fotoğrafları, sayaçlar, notlar, yazılı rehberler (adım fotoğraflarıyla), iplik stokun ve alışveriş listen, dikiş kalıpları, girdiğin vücut ölçüleri, fotoğraftan çıkardığın parçalar ve uygulama ayarların (dil, tema) yalnızca cihazındaki uygulama deposunda tutulur; sen yayınlamadıkça bunlar bize ya da bir sunucuya gönderilmez. Knitting and crochet projects, charts, project photos, counters, notes, written guides (with their step photos), your yarn stash and shopping list, sewing patterns, the body measurements you enter, the pieces you trace from photos and your app settings (language, theme) are kept only in the app's storage on your device; unless you publish them, they are not sent to us or to any server. They are not sent to us or to any server.
Photos: a photo you choose for “Copy from a photo” or “Chart from a photo” is processed on your device only; it is not uploaded and not saved. The only thing kept is the chart or the piece outline you made from it.
PDFs: an exported PDF is created on your device and goes wherever you send it from the share menu. Pattern files (PDFs or photos of pages) you add to a project are kept only on your device and are not part of the cloud backup.
Reminders: if you give a project a finish date and allow notifications, your device shows a local notification on that date; these notifications are not sent to us.

You can use Yip without an account. If you want one, you sign in with Google or Apple; we never see or store your password.
With an account these are stored on the server: your account ID, the email address reported by the sign-in provider (the private relay address Apple gives you if you choose “Hide My Email”) and your sign-in times; and, for your profile, the username, display name, profile picture (one of the pictures that come with the app) and optional short bio that you choose.
Your username, display name, profile picture and bio are visible to other signed-in people in the app. Your email address is not shown to others.

If you publish a chart, a pattern or a written guide with your account, the work itself (the chart's cells and colours, the pattern's measurements and options, or the guide's text; for a pattern traced from a photo, only the piece outlines — the photo you traced from and the guide's step photos are never uploaded), the title and description you write, a small picture the app makes and the time of publishing are stored on the server. Posts are public to everyone signed in to the app: anyone can see them, comment on them and copy them into their own library.
If you share a photo of something you made, the photo is stored with your title, your description and (if you choose) a link to the post it was made from. The photo is shrunk on your device and uploaded without its hidden data (EXIF, such as location); still, everything visible in the photo becomes public, so take care not to share your face, your address or images of other people.
The comments you write, the people you follow and those who follow you, the people you block and the reports you file are stored on the server too. Your comments and follows are visible to others; your block list and your reports are not shown to anyone. Only we see reports, and we use them to review content.
A person who copies a post gets a copy in their own library; deleting a post later does not delete the copies in other people's libraries.
Yip Premium'u satın alırsan ödeme Google Play ya da App Store tarafından işlenir; kart ya da ödeme bilgilerini biz görmeyiz. If you buy Yip Premium, the payment is processed by Google Play or the App Store; we never see your card or payment details. Our server only stores the state of your subscription (plan, expiry date, active / cancelled) and the store's purchase token, which we use to confirm with the store that the purchase is genuine and to unlock the Premium features. If you delete your account, this record is deleted too.

If you are a Premium member and use “Cloud backup”, your projects, charts, photos, counters, notes, written guides, yarn stash, sewing patterns and shopping list are stored as a single file in a private area tied to your account. Only you can access the file; it is not shown to anyone, unlike what you publish. Each backup replaces the previous one. You can restore it under Settings → Cloud backup, or remove it by deleting your account.

If you join a community event (a knit-along, for instance), the event you joined and the time you joined are stored on the server and counted in the member total. Posts you send to an event are listed on the event's page. Every new account automatically follows @yip, the app's own account; you can unfollow it at any time.

We use no ad network, analytics or tracking tool. We do not sell your data or share it for marketing.

The app connects to the internet only for sign-in, the profile, the community features (posts, comments, follows, events) and (for Premium) the cloud backup. The notification permission is only for finish-date reminders. It gets a photo through the system's own picker (gallery or camera) and does not ask for location, contacts, microphone or similar permissions.

Your account data is kept as long as the account exists. You can delete a post or a comment of yours at any time. In the app you can delete your account, your profile and all the posts, comments, follows, event memberships and cloud backup tied to it immediately and permanently with Profile → Delete account; see the account deletion page. Deleted data can stay in the server's routine backups for a short time; backups are renewed regularly.
The projects and patterns on your device are independent of your account: they are removed by uninstalling the app or with Settings → Apps → Yip → Storage → Clear data.

Under Turkish data protection law (KVKK, art. 11) and, if you live in the EU, the GDPR, you have the right to know whether your data is processed, to ask for information, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to its processing and, where possible, to take it with you. You can edit your profile and delete your account inside the app; for other requests write to support@robu.studio. You may also complain to the competent authority.

You must be at least 13 to create an account (higher in some countries). The “child size” option in the app is only for drafting children's clothes; we do not collect personal data about children.

Communication with the server is encrypted (HTTPS). Access to the profile, post, comment and follow tables is restricted so that each person can change only their own records; people you block and you cannot see each other's content. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

If this policy changes, this page is updated and the “Last updated” date changes. If we ever want to use your data for a new purpose we will tell you in the app first.
